Introducing summer 2025 courses

We are delighted to present our brand new Digital Prospectus 2025 rich in programmes and Academies that will appeal to all students aged 6-20.

What exciting courses does Bede's Summer School offer for summer 2025?

NEW Pro Tennis specialist course, held at Dicker, is an intensive two-week programme tailored for advanced tennis players aged 12-17 who want to elevate their game under the guidance of experienced Bede's coaches. The programme combines 14 hours of English tuition with 12 hours of expert tennis coaching. Delivered by Bede's Director of Tennis, the course will focus on technical coaching and specific tennis-related strength and conditioning training, as well as sharpening psychological aspects of the game, such as developing resilience and a tactical mindset.

NEW Leaders and Innovators specialist course is an immersive two-week programme designed for students aged 13 to 17 at Lancing and Royal Russell. Combining practical Business and Innovation projects with 20 hours of classroom-based tuition, group projects, weekly guest speakers sessions and specialised excursions to leading business organisations, this course equips students with the skills to think, communicate and behave like business leaders. Students will develop their critical thinking skills in order to analyse complex problems and make better informed decisions, whilst also developing networking strategies and interpersonal skills to build strong professional connections. This programme is ideal for students with a higher level of English proficiency and those who are native English speakers.

In addition to the new specialist courses, Young Influencers at Windlesham has been rebranded as Digital Trailblazers. This updated course for students aged 10-13 will now focus exclusively on equipping students with essential 21st-century skills through hands-on workshops and practical tasks centred around Digital Marketing and Social Media.

Bede's Summer School is also expanding its range of Academies for 2025. New options include:

• Conversation Confidence Academy in Dicker and Royal Russell for lower-level students (A1-A2) looking to boost their  confidence in speaking English and presentations;
• Graphic Design Academy in Lancing for creative teens interested in exploring design techniques;
• Indoor Climbing Academy in Eastbourne and Dicker for sports enthusiasts eager to improve their climbing skills;
• Street Dance Academy in Eastbourne, Windlesham, Royal Russell, Dicker and Lancing for students wanting to improve their Dance skills.

Additionally, two unique experience academies have been introduced:

• Falconry Academy at Dicker, where students can learn about handling and flying birds of prey;
• E-Kart Racing Academy at Windlesham and Lancing, offering students the chance to race electric go-karts against their peers.

In summer 2025, we will continue to deliver excellent programmes across 6 Bede's Summer School locations in the South East of England as well as our specialist courses in Pro Dance, Zoology & Animal Management and LALIGA Football Camps UK run by UEFA Pro certified coaches.
